Systems Development Manager

Phil Valdez has served as the Systems Development Manager since August 2021. Phil was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico. Prior to joining the PESCO family, Phil served our local community as an educator in Central Consolidated Schools and Farmington Municipal Schools for 30 years. 

Over a 30-year career in education, Phil has brought to PESCO his skills in developing systems that focus on efficiencies and high yield results. In addition, Phil brings extensive experience in leadership development as a performance coach. Phil received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree from New Mexico State University. 

Away from work, Phil enjoys spending time with family, attending NASCAR races, concerts and exploring the outdoors.
